Kieran Allen teaches a course on classical sociological theory at the Department of Sociology in UCD. He has lectured on Weber for the past ten years and is the author of a number of books on Irish society and politics. He is the editor of the Socialist Worker (Ireland) and on the Steering Committee of the Irish Anti-War Movement.
