UnMaking Bullying with Positive Bystanding

Bullying is a top concern for most parents with children in middle school and high school. This video shows how being an advocate for friends can end bullying before it gets out of hand. If parents are able to empower their children with the powerful tool of becoming a positive bystander. Children may not realize the impact their words or actions have on others, negatively or positively. Relationships can be formed and others broken.

Parents fear their great work in raising their child can be compromised when they encounter another child at school who may have problems that overflow from home to the school environment. However, by showing your child to not only be protective of themselves, but others, they can make an impact in someone else’s life and build valuable friendships.
